Tiffany Leise has been
performing, teaching and
choreographing in LA for
the past 15 years. She
was twice selected for The Colorado Tap Dance
Residencies to study with tap greats Honi Coles
and Jimmy Slyde. She performed for the
premiere of the movie TAP starring Gregory Hines in New York. Her film and TV credits include Hoodlums, A Life In The Theatre, King of The Ants, Stanley's Gig, and Opposite Sex. National tour, stage appearances, and industrials include Sugar Babies, The Flintstones, Tap Girls, McDonald's, Intel, Compaq and Kraftmaid. Tiffany has taught at the EDGE Performing Arts Center and tours nationally with L.A. Danceforce (LADF). This summer she is also teaching at
Boulder Jazz Dance Workshop.

Tedd Taskey, agva, aftra, is an actor, writer and director. He appeared with Mel Gibson in the 1999 movie "Payback". He wrote and directed a coming of age movie, King of the Ants in 2003. All of his credits can be found here.
Tedd will go over what an actor or actress can expect when auditioning for a commercial. He also will go over the Do's and the Don'ts and if time allows he will do some on camera reading work.
Anyone who is interested in the broader aspects of a career in dance will find this workshop a heads up for the opportunities that commercials offer.
KERI CAMPBELL,,a graduate of C.U.,  has been recognized for her choreography in such far away places as Germany, and honored with many awards including the Outstanding Choreography Award at the LADF regionals. Her performance credits include performing at The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. for the Jazz Dance World Congress. She believes that the teacher should provide students with the specific insights that each individual student needs. For a young dancer, that may mean conveying the  joy  of  dance, or self-esteem, or awareness. For a more advanced dancer, possibly working on the finer points of technique or performance.
Keri will be working with the Starbound dancers along with Tiffany Leise. It is a great joy for the studio to welcome back this extraordinary mentor for up and coming dancers, and a valuable resource for everyone.
ANDREA DRUMMOND MOTT       TCRG

Andrea was born in Boston, Massachusetts and began her dancing career at the age of five. During her competitive years she won the Greater Boston Championship, New England Regional Oireachtas twice, has placed as high as 11th at the North American Championships, and has qualified and competed at the World Championships multiple times. In addition, she has toured as a soloist both nationally and internationally with a variety of Irish performers.

Andrea received her TCRG certification in Los Angeles and also passed the examination in the Oral Irish Language portion of the examination. Andrea was raised to speak Irish by her mother, and encourages her students to learn about the Irish culture and language in addition to dance.
Broad travels and studies have given Shireen not just a knowledge of ethnic dances but an understanding of the cultures that have generated the dances she teaches.

Dance is about movement. And as cultures are different, ethnic dance employs fundamentally different movements and sensibilities. Getting
acquainted with these movements provides the dancer a broader context of understanding to hold all the dance moves found in the dancers everyday world.

This is a fun and enlightening exploration of an area of dance that many technicians never visit.
