The Dance Dimensions Certified Ballet Programs
Again Dance Dimensions follows a path of offering choice. The two largest global certification programs for Ballet are offered at Dance Dimensions. The Cecchetti syllabus and the R.A.D. syllabus offer specified skill levels that are taught the same the world over. Both systems have tests that are given by certified examiners at the end of the year. Advancement to the next level in the programs rests on the successful testing at the current level. The tests themselves are learning experiences and a great deal of satisfaction is gained by the successfully testing student. Students are given extra training sessions to prepare them for the form of the test and the specific material they will be expected to know at thier level. Another advantage of these programs is the assurance that if the student moves to another area they can be confident that they will know the same material as any other R.A.D. or Cecchetti student at their level.
As well as the R.A.D. and Cecchetti tracks, Dance Dimensions also offers an open Ballet track. The open track is a little less structured but encompasses elements of many different schools of Ballet. It also has a slightly more self expressive focus. However there is a strong core of physical training and discipline that runs at the base of the open Ballet track as do all of the classes offered at Dance Dimensions.
